Christmas Part 1: A Very Foxy Christmas

Mom and Dad Fox, Robert and Lizzie got to Mason City the night of the 23rd.

It snowed SO MUCH that day. A neighbor friend came over and all the kids (minus Kiera who was sleeping) went outside to play in the snow. I couldn't help but go outside and take pictures of the kids and of all the beautiful snow on all the trees. The kids had a BLAST! It was a very wet snow and just perfect for making a snow man. Crazy Arianna got back from going to the doctor for her elbow and she stayed outside and helped us with the snow man too. What a special day!
The BEAUTIFUL snowman. Jackson was not happy that it was a girl. :)
We made another snow man for Jackson but he still wasn't happy because it ended up being smaller than the first one. :) haha. Silly boy.

**On Christmas Eve we all went to the movies to see the movie "Sing!" It was SO cute. I loved it. **
We drove around that night and looked at Christmas lights. Arianna found a cute christmas lights scavenger hunt so we took walkie talkies and looked for the things on the list as we drove around.
We filled stockings and set up Christmas for the kids before we all headed to bed.

**Christmas morning we were all up by about 7:30 (I think). The kids all loved their gifts and it was so fun seeing them open all their things. Jackson was extra cute. Every time he opened something he would open his mouth up so wide and act so excited. **
He was not happy I was taking the picture. :)
We got matching batman pajamas for our christmas jammies this year. :)
We all got ready and headed to church. Kevin was the narrator for the Christmas program. It was a beautiful program with lovely music and a sweet message. With it being our last Sunday in Mason City I gave a lot of goodbye hugs. It was a sweet Sunday to end our time in that ward.
We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing, eating food and doing a puzzle.
That night Mom Fox, Anna and I went over to Emily's to watch the When Calls the Heart Christmas special on the Hallmark channel. It was so fun. We laughed and had a great time. Of course we had selfie time afterwards and I almost peed my pants I was laughing so hard.

The day after Christmas we did a little shopping in the morning and then spent the rest of the day getting things ready to leave for Laramie the next day. Mom brought the Pie Face game and the kids thought it was hilarious. It was fun to play together that day. :)

Mom and Dad Fox got up early on the 27th and headed to Laramie. They had to stop in North Platte so they had to leave earlier than the rest of us. Anna had a doctors appointment before we could leave so after she finished we packed up the cars and headed to Wyoming! Kevin took Jacob, Lizzie and Robert in his car and I rode with Anna and Andrew to help with the kids since Anna couldn't really do anything with her arm. :) It was a long day driving but fun getting to spend time with family!

And finally we will end with Jackson's awesome hair the morning we left for Wyoming. He has got his Grandpa Lyman's crazy hair genes. :)

It was a wonderful Christmas spent with people I love so much. My heart felt sad as we left Mason City but at the same time I was filled with peace and excitement for this next chapter in Wyoming.

After we got to Laramie we rested for a day and then headed to Idaho for some more family celebrations...but that's for another day. :)

Third Time's the Charm..Maybe...

Last week as I sat down to go through some emails I remembered this old blog and got sucked into reading through past posts. I smiled, cried and laughed as I read through my memories over the last 4 years. :) It was crazy to read through and think about how much has changed over the years and how much Kevin and I have experienced together in the 6 years we've been married. My last post was from March of last year after a visit to Iowa. I could kick myself for not keeping up with this blog because last year was packed full of some of the greatest and hardest experiences of my life. Highlights from over the past 18 months: -We had a graduation party in Idaho for Kevin April 2017 and he officially graduated the following July! It felt so good for him to finally be done. He worked SO HARD and overcame some major obstacles and set backs.  -After Kevin walked in April we did a big trip to Utah and Iowa with Shawnii after watching her graduate with her Masters in Communication Disor...

Mid-Week Happenings/Ramblings

This week has gone by sooo slow. I woke up this morning thinking it was Thursday. Rude. Anyways...Here's some random happenings/ramblings from the past week or so... Kevin is anti anything Christmas before Thanksgiving...I'm the complete opposite. We've compromised. I can listen to Christmas music but cant hang any decorations (my pinecone and snowflake garlands don't count) until the Monday before Thanksgiving. I can live with those stipulations.  We made a goal with our friend G to not eat out at all this week (we may or may not have an addiction to midnight runs to McDonalds). We've survived so far.  Last night we finally watched the movie, "The Fault in Our Stars". Holy hannah. Ugly face cry the whole time people. It was so sad but so worth it, minus the random f-bomb.  I attempted to make homemade french fries for dinner this week...oh deary...Lets just say I wont be using that particular recipe again...or attempting to make fries again a...

Sum of September

My goodness its already October! September was a fabulous, crazy, busy, wonderful month. First up a visit to Idaho... A ll my siblings surprised my parents the second weekend of Sept as an early birthday present for my mom's 60th birthday! We were missing Kevin and Arianna's husband and kids but the rest of us were able to go. My parents were so shocked and my mom cried and cried she was so happy to see us all. It was the best present we've ever given her. :)  It was a laid back weekend just spending time together. We went to a Gentri concert Saturday night,  church Sunday, my mom loves having people to sit with so we made sure to visit on a weekend so we could all sit with her, Danny and Melissa's family left Sunday after dinner, Monday we had a little day of shopping and relaxing at home, and then Tuesday Shawnii, Arianna and I all headed home.  GETTING TO DRIVE LARRY HOME FROM CHURCH!!!  The day after I got back from Idaho I st...
