By the time we got back to Blackfoot from Boise on Sunday I felt SO sick. My glands were swollen, my head hurt, my throat hurt, I had the chills. UGH. It was ridiculous. We got to my parents house, I changed into PJ's and I laid on the couch the rest of the time. Kevin and my Dad gave me a blessing and I was able to sleep better than I had the night before.
We had planned to go to Idaho Falls and Rexburg on Monday to visit friends but I was feeling so sick that Kevin just went up by himself. I was so sad. :( I literally laid on the couch all day long. I'm so grateful that I had my family there to take care of me so I didn't have to move.
Even though I couldn't get off the couch the kids still made sure to keep me company... :)
I took a shower and after I got out I went to put something away and came back to the bathroom to this little gal sitting in the tub! Crazy girl. :)
She obviously claimed the candy bowl...
Tuesday we woke up and decided we should still head back to Laramie like we originally planned so we could caravan with Andrew and Anna. Kayleen and Jackson rode in our car with us. It ended up snowing a TON in Blackfoot over the next few days so it was a good thing we left when we did or we would have had to travel in horrible conditions.
You'd think after so many years of being used to saying goodbye after holidays it would get easier? Nope. I always cry. :) Haha. I love my family so much and loved getting to spend time with them. (even though I was sick!)
Even though my sweet mama is so sad in this picture I love that they came and waved even though it was so cold outside. That is true love. :)
Our little car companions ready for the long drive back to Grandma and Grandpa Fox's house...
The drive back...
I was drinking a lot of water to try and help my throat so I had to stop more than usual. I'm grateful for a patient husband and for patient family as we traveled. It was fun to be able to caravan with Andrew and Anna.We got back to Laramie Tuesday evening and unfortunately the sickness started to spread! :( Andrew got sick, Kiera got sick, Anna got sick...it just wouldn't end! So lame.
Luckily we were still able to enjoy the few days we had in Laramie all together. :)
