Tonight Kevin and I were able to go up to the St. Paul Temple. It was so wonderful to be able to have that time with Kevin. I love the peace and love I always feel when being in the temple. I always leave feeling refreshed and ready to handle whatever life brings.
We ran into Kevin's cousin's wife while we were there. It was so fun getting to see and chat with her for a little bit. It was a lovely evening spent in the temple. I'm grateful for the guidance I felt and the answers I was able to see more clearly. I know the Lord loves me and I know we are blessed when we are obedient and try our best to follow the promptings we receive.
The drive up to the temple was GORGEOUS. There were groups of trees with red, green, orange, and yellow leaves. SO PRETTY. I can't get over how much I love all the fall colors everywhere. I thought I loved them in the west but my goodness the midwest is making me fall in love all over again with the fall season! It rained the whole way up so Kevin said if I wanted a picture with him and the temple we had to do it while walking so we wouldn't be drenched by the time we got inside...hence the blurry pictures below. :)
There was rain, crazy lightening and wind the whole drive home. I'm grateful Kevin enjoys driving and that he is such a great driver. I would have been a crazy, stressed mess if I had been the one driving tonight but he was calm, cool and collected the entire time. :) The lightening was pretty intense. It would light up the whole sky! It reminded me of our summer living in Missouri. I don't mind the lightening...as long as Kevin is there. He helps me feel brave. :)
I love my husband and I love getting to go on dates with him. Tonight was much needed for both of us and I love that we were able to spend time together laughing, enjoying each others company and feeling peace at the temple. Such a lovely Tuesday!

Man I can't get over how much I love this handsome guy.
On our way back home we of course had to stop by Panda Express for some dinner. Kevin is like a little, giddy school boy whenever he gets to eat there. He definitely misses having one close by. :)There was rain, crazy lightening and wind the whole drive home. I'm grateful Kevin enjoys driving and that he is such a great driver.
