This past Saturday we spent the morning/afternoon in Driggs with our friends Dave, Kristy, Dallin, and Saraiah. We rented fat bikes from the ORC and went down a groomed trail outside of Driggs.
We went fat biking last year with Dave and Kristy here in Rexburg and had a great time so we decided we would try it again but try a groomed trail this year. I would definitely recommend the activity to anyone. It was SO much fun.
We biked about 4.2 miles to a turn around point and then biked back to our car. The way back a bit easier than the way there. A bit more down hill on the way back made a huge difference! Haha. We passed and saw a lot of cross county skiers and a few people snow shoeing.
We loaded up at the ORC at 8:30 and headed out!

| This girl is seriously the greatest. |
As we were biking we stopped at a camp ground Kevin and I camped at last summer for a family reunion. It was hilarious seeing the picnic tables and bathrooms covered with snow.
We also stopped to see this little waterfall. It was super pretty! (and it was always nice to be able to stop and take a break! My thighs were burnin!) :) haha
The turn around spot was also the start of the trail for a hike called Table Rock. We all made a pack that day that we're going to hike it sometime this year haha. Hence the huddle with all our hands in...
We stopped on the way back and found a little hill. All the boys slid down on their bellies and got covered in snow! We of course had to stop and take a few pictures as well. :)

| This was after Kevin climbed back up one of the times he slid down. :) He is so dang goofy, I love him! |
It was super fogging driving into Driggs and then as soon as we pulled into the parking lot the fog was gone and it was blue skies! Then as we were leaving we drove back into the fog again! It looked super cool/creepy! We finished the day off eating at a delicious burger/pizza place and stuffed ourselves full then headed back to Rexburg!
It was such a great day spent with some fabulous people! I am grateful we live in an area that we can do such fun outdoor things even in the winter time. I'm also grateful we have amazing friends that are willing to go on these adventures with us!
Until next time...
Holly :)
